Jay Davis is an award-winning drummer and composer based in london.

He has performed with artists such as Yazz Ahmed, Nikki iles, Alex Hitchcock, Rob luft, Laura Jurd, Elliot Galvin, Stan sulzmann, Mark lockheart, John Parricelli and Emma Rawicz to name a few.

Jay plays in several creative projects as well as leading his own band Badtrad and contributing as co-leader to big bad wolf alongside owen dawson, mike de souza, and rob luft.

jay has performed throughout the uk, europe and asia at festivals and venues including umbria jazz festival, Leipzig Jazztage, London Jazz festival, Jimmy glass (Valencia), Jamboree (Barcelona), Jazzwerkstatt (Graz), Bimhuis (Amsterdam), Ronnie Scott's (London), The Roundhouse (London).
