Aubin vanns quartet

Aubin Vanns Quartet takes inspiration from contemporary European and New York jazz, folk and classical music. The melodies, stories and dramatic impetus of opera pair with the self-expression, group interplay and freedom of jazz. Each composition is a song without words, coloured by evocative harmony and textural percussion. Sympathetic and responsive musicians explore these settings, these different moods and craft beautiful and sincere music.

Featuring all original music, the quartet’s debut, Opera features a representative range from this exciting new ensemble with song-like melodies and romantic harmony at its heart.
